Andrew Harbison
Director of Library Services

Andrew has a background in history and received his Master of Library and Information Science degree at the University of Washington's Information School in 2002. He has been at The Art Institute of Seattle since 2003. He can be reached at aharbison@aii.edu or (206)393-3576.

Richard Visick
Reference Services Librarian

Richard has a degree in intermedia sculpture and received a Master of Library and Information Science degree at the University of Washington's Information School in 2005.  He has been at the Art Institute since 2008. He can be reached at rvisick@aii.edu or (206)239-2561.

Sara Sherman
Technical Services Librarian

Sara has an English degree and received her Master of Library and Information Science degree at the University of North Carolina in 2006. She has been at the Art Institute since 2007. Contact her at ssherman@aii.edu or (206)239-2356.

In addition to three librarians, the library is regularly staffed by student employees. Students employees are well trained in many of the library's operations and goals, so please do not hesitate to ask for their assistance. At the same time, please feel free to ask for a librarian at any time, as students are not professionally trained in library and information sciences.
