Subscription Databases : Searchable repositories of current and historical serial publications such as newspapers and magazines licensed for ON CAMPUS USE ONLY. If you would like to use databases off-campus, please email ais_library@aii.edu and provide your name, program, and student ID number. See descriptions below to determine the best resource.   • eLibrary : Full text magazine, newspaper & encyclopedia articles, images and more
  • Proquest Bundle : Includes Proquest Research Library, ABI Complete, National Newspapers 27, and Proquest Psychology. Full text magazine, newpaper & encyclopedia articles. Contact the library for login information.

Corbis : 85,000+ licensed low & high resolution stock photos accessible online. Please email ais_library@aii.edu for password and login information and include the following in your e-mail: your full name, AiS student ID number, AiS program, and your current e-mail address.

Fotolia : Stock photos for sale. Students receive 5 free credits and 15% discount on images.

Getty Images : Stock image collection for educational use by students and faculty. To sign up, come to the AiS Library (North Campus, 5th floor) and fill out a User Agreement Form. We'll email the username, password, and instructions within 24 hours (longer on weekends).

Marketline : Provides information on companies, industries and countries. Includes interactive reports and databases; industry and company profiles with competitive analysis; macro-economic, social, demographic and industry statistics for 215 countries; and a live feed of news, comment and analysis.

Omnimusic : Downloadable sound files of compositions in a variety of styles, genres, and instrumentations for use by students and faculty for educational purposes.

Oxford Art Online : 34 volume Dictionary of Art consisting of 45,000 entries, with cross references and links to art images from museums and galleries around the world, plus The Oxford Companion to Western Art; Encyclopedia of Aesthetics; and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms (formerly known as Grove Art Online).

Oxford Reference Library : Online reference access to encyclopedias and dictionaries.

Safari Tech Books : More than 5,000 technical manuals online; topics ranging from a myriad of software applications to building, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware. Photoshop, Maya, After Effects, Flash, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver are just some of the applications covered.

Virtual Training Company (VTC) : Comprehensive online computer software training - over 60,000 streaming tutorials. Categories include Animation & 3D, Audio, Graphics & Page Layout, Internet & Web Design, and more. Publishers' tutorials include Adobe, Apple, Corel, and others.

Worth Global Style Network (WGSN) : International fashion news.

Tech Support : The Art Institute of Seattle Technolotgy Support Group - campus computer lab info, updates, resourceful links, and other on campus technology information.
