Audio Clips
Audio clips are available through FirstCom, a database of downloadable sound files of compositions in a variety of styles, genres, and instrumentations. For use by students and faculty for educational purposes.
Also - check the network share for Media Libraries accessible on campus. These include Hanna-Barbera Sound FX Library, Warner Bros. Sound FX Library, and The General 6000 Sound FX Library. All in all, over 10,000 sound effects. See the Downloads and/or Media Libraries link at www.classroom.sea - oncampus only.
In addition there are CDs of sound effects which may be checked out for one day. These discs are in the library catalog Voyager and can be searched using the keyword SFX. Sound effects discs are behind the desk, so write down the call numbers of the discs you would like and we’ll retrieve them for you.
